In Tantric intimacy, we are taught to release all goals during lovemaking. We are asked to be completely present. We must let go of all the training that we have accumulated in our quest for being a great lover. Why is that? How does letting go of these things lead to mind-blowing experiences? We are Infinite
Tantra teaches that we are both infinitely divine and finitely physical. We aren’t meant to shun one or the other. We are meant to live in both words simultaneously. The spiritual perspective brings wonder and expansion to our physical lives, and the juiciness of our physical experiences grounds our spiritual experience.
But how does this work? If we are infinite beings, how can we experience the limitations of the physical world?
Well, the key is that we must become limited somehow. We must become “fettered”. We must lose touch with that infinite perspective so that we can have a human experience.
The irony is that to experience pure bliss, we must understand the joys of the fetters, dive into them, and then develop the ability to transcend them… right here in our physical lives.
